In the following video you will learn which advantages WeValCo Steps has to offer for your project work.
There are many programs that can help you plan and execute your projects. You may already own one of them – Microsoft (MS) Planner, which is part of the 365 subscription.
In many companies, MS Excel is used for project planning, tracking and reporting. Excel is well suited for creating individual reports, e.g. to show project progress. Unfortunately, tracking tasks is cumbersome, especially in distributed teams. This is where MS Planner has its strengths. Tasks can be assigned to people and be processed by them independently. Combined with Sharepoint, you also have a good document repository.
WeValCo Steps allows you to use the advantages of both programs. For planning and status reports you can use MS Excel and for task distribution and tracking MS Planner. WeValCo Steps synchronizes your tasks between both programs and offers you a real support for your project management. WeValCo Steps was developed based on the Microsoft 365 platform and uses the infrastructure that is included in every Microsoft 365 subscription.

Track live the progress of the transfer. Get helpful alerts in this interface and open your project report from within WeValCo Steps.
The following example project was created automatically with WeValCo Steps. The project includes the planning and execution of a party. The first two project steps “Planning” and “Invitation” (called buckets in MS Planner) were totally completed. In the third bucket the tasks were partially completed, recognizable by the two numbers e.g. 3/5 of the marked task. In this task, 3 out of 5 sub-steps of a checklist were completed.
This project report was created automatically from MS Planner using WeValCo Steps. The report is sorted by project steps (buckets). Individual tasks and their progress can be displayed.
You can also assign tasks to logical groups (e.g. teams, milestones etc.) and display the project report according to those. In this example, the tasks have been assigned to teams and the work progress can be displayed for each team.
